The ASUS Prime B660-PLUS has an Intel LGA 1700 socket and is compatible with 12th generation Intel CPUs. The networking on this motherboard is ultrafast. There are three M.2 slots, three PCIe 4.0 slots, a rear USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C, a front USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C, Realtek 2.5Gb Ethernet, and Thunderbolt 4 header support. It features an extensively cooling system. The VRM heatsink, M.2 heatsink, PCH heatsink, hybrid fan headers, and Fan Xpert 2+ are all included. The latest Intel CPUs now have free access to memory bandwidth thanks to changes to the motherboard's trace routing. ASUS OptiMem technology organizes memory signal routes meticulously across several PCB layers to eliminate vias and includes shielding zones that dramatically reduce crosstalk.
